New Photo Project

I’m starting up—or more accurately—have been starting up a new photo project.

It’s called Human/Habitat and it’s about the idea of home. Each photo is a portrait of someone where they feel most at home, whether that home is a place, a thing, a concept or another person. Mine is either in the water or under a starry sky; and I have heard and lined up some other good ideas.

So far I’ve finished one shoot, and have two more lined up, but I still need one more shot within the next two weeks, as well as at least eight more total. While I’m doing this project mostly out of personal interest, it’s also for school credit, which sets a few deadlines for me. The work will be shown as part of my class in December as a collection of ten images, but I’d like to continue the work and show it at more places.

The work will start surfacing in the coming weeks, but for now I need your help.
